Here is the list of projects that I have undertaken during my studies.
PC Based Camera Tilt-Pan System and Target Coordinate Calculation
I took this project in 2000 as part of degree requirement of BE Avionics at College of Aeronautical Engineering, PAF Academy Risalpur. The project was a part of ground based project for UAV. The video was displayed along with approximate target coordinates of the location the camera was aligned, calculated using the received GPS data and tilt-pan angles of the camera. The interface was developed in Visual Basic. The algorithm was verified using MATLAB’s Mapping Toolbox.
I presented a paper related to the project titled “Spherical Trigonometry and Navigational Calculations” at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad in end 2008.
Linux Windows Networking using Samba
I took this project at College of EME, Rawalpindi in 2001. The file sharing, printer sharing and text chatting capabilities were practically demonstrated between the two platforms. The Linux version used was Red Hat Linux 7.2.
Linux Clustering with openMosix
I took this project in 2009 for the subject “Selected Topics of Computer Networks” at College of EME, Rawalpindi. A cluster was established and practically demonstrated.
A New Simulation of Spiral Architecture
I took this project in 2009 for the subject “Digital Image Processing” at College of EME, Rawalpindi.
